High self esteem is not a trait I have ever possessed. Self doubt, uncertainty and insecurity, however, I am very familiar with.

So how many of you are right there with me??

Anyone?? Yea I see one or two of you out there. Glad I’m not alone 😁

So many people I see around me struggle daily with these feelings. Some to the point that life seems unbearable. I see so many that struggle with the will or the fight to live because of insecurities and non existent self worth.

AND…might step on a few toes….but today’s society doesn’t help matters much.

But you know what…..

Our self worth or purpose is not found in society.

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works.”. Psalms 139:14

We are fearfully and wonderfully made. God Himself formed us in our mothers’ womb. (Psalms 139:13)

But you know what else this verse says?? Marvelous are His works! We are His works! He created us!

Our self worth is found in Him. Our insecurities can be overcome by trusting in Him and our purpose can be found in following Him.

So the next time Satan tries to bring those doubts, insecurities and unworthy feelings into your mind, reread Psalms 139:14.

Remind yourself that you were fearfully and wonderfully made, that you were created by our Heavenly Father and His works are marvelous.

So ….we are marvelous! 😊
