When my cousin and I were little, we spent almost every weekend together. She was my best friend! We would bug our moms to let us spend the night until they gave in.

You remember those days, don’t you?

I remember them with my kids as well. I would hear “mommy, mommy, mommy, mama, mama, mom, mom” over and over until finally I just gave in and said ok.

Seems annoying doesn’t it?

But you know what?? It’s the same with God. I know you’re thinking, “What??”, but just hear me out!

I have never believed in prayer as a one and done deal. I have heard my whole life to bring it to the altar and leave it there. That is somewhat true. But let me tell you…I am going to bug God like I did my mama!

Look at Joshua. What if he had only walked around the walls six times and given up? What if he had said, “you know what, this isn’t gonna happen” and went home?

What about Elijah praying for rain? He prayed seven times and on the seventh time a cloud appeared. What if he had stopped at six and decided God wasn’t going to answer?

Friends, don’t EVER give up. Don’t EVER stop praying for it.

Those kids need Jesus? Pray EVERY SINGLE day, several times a day! You or someone you know needs a healing? Pray EVERY DAY!

Don’t ever stop bringing your requests to God. You never know, it may be that seventh time, or that one hundredth time that He sends the answer!
