Morbid title….I know…But did it catch your attention??

I hope so! Because this is important ya’ll.

My children are grown and out of the house. I’ve done most of my raising, BUT I will NEVER stop mothering them. NEVER. Not until the day I die. And when that day comes??

What does my last will and testament give them?

Sorry kids! Not a fortune unless we win the lottery! (But I guess you gotta play to win )

But as I look at the pictures of them hanging on my wall, I wonder if I have left them the important stuff. I wonder if my “last will and testament” will lead them to where they need to be.

I wonder if my testimony and my life will be enough to lead them to Christ.

In 2 Peter, he is writing a letter to his children in Christ. He knows his death is approaching soon and wants to be absolutely sure that they have what they need.

2 Peter 1:12 “For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things..”.

1:13 “”Yes, I think it is right, as long as I am with you in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you..”.

1:15 “Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease.”

I have friends and family who are just starting their families. Some with small babies and some with babies on the way.

Have we and are we being careful to ensure that they ALWAYS have a reminder of these things after we are gone?
