Have you ever wondered why it says that on the shampoo bottles?  Honestly, I never paid much attention to it.  But as I was washing my hair the other day, it randomly popped into my head again. 

So, of course… I HAD to Google it.

Apparently, the first wash removes all the build up and the second wash cleanses.  Interesting.

Of course, the more I thought about it, the more I started relating it to my daily walk with Christ. 

I guess you could say we are ALL rinse and repeat Christians.

Say what??

When we get saved, we are washed clean.  All that build-up and residue of our former life is gone. 

But what about the next day?

Our intentions are good, but the flesh will ALWAYS kick in.  So daily, we have to kill it.  Daily, we have to pray for God to help us through without succumbing to the temptations.  Daily, we have to ask for forgiveness and grace.

Rinse and repeat. 

So you see my friends, don’t despair when you are tempted and are tried.   Our flesh is weak, but God’s strength and His grace is strong. 

He will ALWAYS help us through.
