Part 1…

Colton Dixon’s song “Build A Boat” has a line that states…

“I will build a boat in the sand where they say it never rains…”

That’s a statement of the faith for sure!

Noah stepped out to build an ark. He began work on a boat to shield his family and himself from the coming rain and flood.

It had NEVER rained before.

NEVER. The idea of water falling from the sky and flooding the earth was laughable to the majority of the people.

But not to Noah.

Genesis 6:17-18 “And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on earth shall die. But I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark- you, your sons, your wife and your sons’ wives with you.”

God said He would open up the heavens and Noah believed God would do as He said.

My friends, we should have the faith of Noah. God may be telling you to reach out, to step out or to build that “ark”. He may be telling you to do something never done before or something that the world views as laughable.

Remember, if God says it will happen, He will bring it to pass.

And if He tells you “the flood is coming”…

Then my friends, “go build your boat”!!
