Such an ugly word, isn’t it! At least to me, it is.

I am an IMPATIENT person. I’m not good at the waiting. Not on food, not in a doctors office, and definitely not on the Amazon truck! 🤣

Seriously though, I have to constantly pray about this. And let me tell you… when you pray for patience, the waiting will definitely follow!!

The things you prayed for, the things you wanted or needed to happen yesterday, God says, “It’s not time yet.”.

That, my friends, is hard to hear. Especially for someone as impatient as I am.

We start to get discouraged and think that God isn’t listening or that He doesn’t hear us.

My friends, He does.

Sometimes, in the waiting, that’s when we truly grow.

When we are in that period of life, we will cry out to God. We will pray with an urgency and consistency that may not have been present before. We will truly open our hearts and listen.

It’s then that our knees hit the floor.

Is it pleasant? Most times not. Is it frustrating. Most times, yes.

Just remember, all things happen in His time.

And, when it does, it will be exactly what God purposed just for you. And you’ll be glad you waited. 😊
