Cue the ball drop and the fireworks!

Another year has come and gone.  I’ve always heard that January 1 is the first blank page in a 365 page book.  Yours to write!!

In a way that’s true.  We have a whole new year ahead of us.

But as I reflect on 2024, I have several that started a whole new year with us that did not make into 2025.

So many came with us into 2024 that left us before the year was done.  I’ve lost loved ones, friends.  We all have.

For them, that book has blank pages that were never written, and never will be. 

As I look forward into 2025, I pray for those who walk into to this year with me.  I pray that those who are with me now, will be with me as I walk through this year. 

I know that for some, this may not be.  I know that I, myself, may not walk through this entire year. 

Only God knows our days. 

But as I head into this new year, my only wish is to live each day that I have to the fullest.  To see my kids, my family, my friends live each day to the fullest.

Because even as we watch this new year begin, we are not promised the next.

So I hope each and every one of you live each coming day with all the love, happiness and fullness that you can muster.
